Baked Honey Mustard Chicken



The classic combination of honey and mustard smothered in all tender chicken breast and baked to perfection.

Material

  • 4 (4 ounces each) boneless and skinless chicken breast
  • 1 teaspoon (or to taste) chicken seasoning mixture <- click here for the recipe
  • 1-1 / 2 tablespoons of olive oil, divided
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of whole wheat mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon of paprika
  • 4 fresh rosemary sprigs, optional but recommended


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 ° F.
  2. Brush a 9x13 pan with a cooking spray and set it aside.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan.
  4. Season chicken breast with a mixture of chicken seasonings and add chicken breast to the pan; cook for 2 minutes on each side, or until browned.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare honey mustard sauce.
  6. Mix 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, honey, mustard, white vinegar, and paprika in a small bowl; shake until evenly mixed.
  7. Transfer the chicken breast from the pan to the pre-prepared pan.
  8. Pour honey mustard sauce over chicken breast, turn the chicken over so that it covers the whole chicken breast.
  9. Place the rosemary sprigs between the chicken breasts.
  10. Cover with tinfoil and bake for 20 minutes.
  11. Remove the cover and continue baking for another 15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked. Cooking time will vary depending on the size / thickness of the chicken.
  12. Remove from the oven and let stand 5 minutes.
  13. Presents.
