Chicken Bacon Cream
This thick chicken bacon recipe is a decadent, delicious dinner that is easy enough for a work night and delicious enough to be accompanied. It's ready in about 30 minutes!
Material
- 6 strips of meat cut into small pieces
- 2 large chicken breasts cut in half lengthwise
- Flour for dredging
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Pepper for taste
- 1/2 cup of chicken stock
- 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 cup whipped / heavy cream
Instructions
- Cut the bacon and add it to the pan (I use kitchen scissors to make this work fast). Fry over medium-high heat until crispy (about 10 minutes). After the meat is c00ked, remove it from the pan and set aside. Leave the bacon fat in the pan.
- Meanwhile, prepare your chicken (cut in half lengthwise so you have 4 smaller slices of meat). Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper then coat with flour.
- Add chicken to the pan and cook in the remaining bacon over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes / side or until golden. If it starts to splatter a lot, reduce the heat. After the chicken is browned, remove it from the pan and set aside.
- Add chicken stock, lemon juice and butter to the pan. Let it bubble until it is reduced by half (about 3-4 minutes).
- Stir in the cream and after it begins to bubble, add chicken and meat to the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce decreases to your liking.
